“There are two sexes and one does the shopping.” This piece of brilliance comes from my pal Bridget Brennen.

As a business coach, I am dazzled at how many women are befuddled by money. Myself included.

I just finished doing a radio show, Femme Finances ( you can hear it in Seattle on August 6th).  Getting on the horn about women and money has got me

thinking about how different women and men are about money.

I gave the advice to put your cash in envelopes which really, really, really works. ( Maybe I will get back on the envelope bandwagon in my new home.)

I went to a two room school house for first and second grade in a very rural farming community. Mattie Uphouse was the school teacher for our half of the school. She would have us 'read' the bible each morning. Since we were first and second graders, we just repeated The Lord's Prayer.. regardless of what page we were on. Mrs. Uphouse would be pretty happy with where I've come.
